Becoming a superior and leading university in the integration and development of Islamic and scientific knowledge for civilization is the vision of UIN Sunan Kalijaga. This achievement cannot be separated from the recognition of BAN-PT (National Accreditation Board for Higher Education) which has the duty and obligation to supervise the implementation of education in universities in Indonesia. BAN-PT accreditation refers to the national standards of higher education. In developing accreditation criteria, SN-Dikti is used as the main reference. Accreditation criteria are translated into assessment elements by considering the interaction between standards from SN-Dikti that measure the achievement of higher education quality. Considering that accreditation does not only assess compliance, but also assesses the performance of higher education institutions, the accreditation assessment considers the achievement of higher education standards prepared and set by universities that exceed SN-Dikti. Accreditation assessment is carried out using data and information available on the Higher Education Database (PDDikti).

To improve the quality and value of accreditation, the SAA study program will follow the FIBAA international accreditation as a form of SAA's contribution to UIN Sunan Kalijaga based on the slogan UIN Suka untuk Bangsa, UIN Suka Mendunia. Thus, the SAA study program makes every effort to study and compile instruments related to this accreditation.

On October 22, 2021, the SAA Study Program held an Accreditation Preparation Workshop. The resource person in this activity was Dr. Titi Savitri Prihatiningsih, M.Med.Ed., Ph.D., Lecturer at Gajah Mada University. The material in this activity is related to FIBAA accreditation.
