Studi Agama-Agama (Religious Studies) study program is getting ready for FIBAA international accreditation. According to its official website, FIBAA is a European, internationally oriented agency for quality assurance and quality development in higher education. For this purpose, members of SAA faculty joined the preparation program held by the university’s quality assurance agency on 21 to 24 of April 2021 in Magelang, Central Java.

in his opening speech for the preparation program, the rector of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, Prof. Dr. Phil Almakin expressed his support for the faculty members. Professor Almakin said that international program accreditation is an essential step to realize UIN Sunan Kalijaga’s slogan, “UIN SUKA for the Nation, UIN SUKA went global”.

Meanwhile, head of the SAA study program, Dian Nur Anna, said that she is so grateful for the support, “Our gratitude goes to the Rector, Vice Rector, Dean ,Vice Dean Faculty of Ushuluddin and Islamic Thought and university’s quality assurance agency for providing the opportunity for us to participate in this program”. She is optimistic that SAA study program soon will be prepared for international accreditation. “Bismillah, hopefully everything goes as planned, amin” she said.
