Excellent and leading in the study of religions by integrating and developing Islamic theological sciences (ushul al-din) with social humanities.

Mision

1. To conduct education and teaching in the field of religious studies with the aim of producing religious scholars who are capable of studying religions, and engage in soco-religious issues.
2. To conduct research by applying and building theories in the study of religions.
3. To improve the contribution of religious studies in solving humanitarian problems for the sake of maintaining peace.
4. To building trust through cooperation with various parties, providing mutual benefits to create networkings at the local, national and international levels.

Objective

The main objective  is "to produce professional scholars in Religious Studies with Islamic paradigm and Indonesian spirit."

Specific Objectives:

1. To produce graduates who have academic abilities in the science of religions.
2. To produce graduates who have methodological skills in Religious Studies.
3. Producing scholars who are committed to developing a tolerant and peaceful society.
