Joint Reflection: Revisiting Culture as National Identity

After following the SLI material the previous week, a reflection of the material was held at the Kaliopak Cultural Boarding School with Kyai Jadul Maula as the resource person. After participating in the SLI activities, there is a reflection that is required for the participants creatively from the material that will be displayed at the next meeting. On the occasion of this reflection, it was held at the Kaliopak Cultural Boarding School to get to know the profile, progress and distinctiveness of the kaliopak cultural boarding school.

The participants got a new understanding of culture explained by Kyai Jadul. Culture in academic studies is always studied as history, rarely studying or analyzing how to make a dignified culture. Kyai Jadul Maula's explanation as the caretaker of the Kaliopak Cultural Boarding School made me have a new inside about culture.

Culture is not seen as something narrowly related to an art, but culture is the essence of human life that has been applied for generations to achieve prosperity in life. Culture always exists in every segment of human/society life that must be understood and applied with its own level of spirituality.
