Religious Studies Study Study Program Visits Pandeglang to Conduct Socialization

Study program (as known: Prodi) socialization activities are activities to provide information about the level of education in higher education. On 10-13 April 2019, the Study of Religion (SAA) Study Program had the opportunity to conduct socialization activities in the Pandeglang area, West Java. The targets of this study program socialization include schools / madrasas and pesantren, namely MAN 1 Pandeglang, MALNU Islamic Boarding School, Menes, Pandeglang and SMAN 2 Pandeglang. In the socialization activities carried out by the ranks of Religious Studies lecturers namely, Dr. Ustadi Hamsah, S.Ag., M.Ag. (Head of Study Program), Ahmad Muttaqin, M.Ag., M.A., Ph.D, Dr. H. A. Singgih Basuki, M.A., Roni Ismail, S.Th.I., M.Si., Khairullah Zikri, S.Ag., M.A.. St. Rel., Drs. Rahmat Fajri, M.Ag.

The material in the socialization of SAA Study Program in madrasa and pesantren includes: (1) history of Religious Studies Study Program; (2) the importance of Religious Studies in the context of multi-religious and multicultural Indonesia; (2) courses offered; (3) learning process; (4) prospects and fields of work of SAA Study Program graduates; (5) as well as testimonials of SAA Study Program alumni who have been successful. At the beginning of the socialization, a film was screened which was made by the SAA study program in 2013 entitled "Harmony", so that students / students know in detail the learning process in college classes, especially the Religious Studies Study Program.

Socialization of Religious Studies Study Study Program needs to be carried out continuously, directed and programmed so that the vision, mission goals and strategic values of SAA Study Program can be understood comprehensively. That way, various suspicions and misconceptions of some people towards the Religious Studies Study Program can be overcome. In the future, the Religious Studies Study Program can be widely recognized by high school students / Madrasah Aliyah and boarding school students.
