Study Program Accreditation Workshop: Curriculum Redesign Referring to OBE

On January 16-18, 2023, the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Islamic Thought held a Study Program Accreditation Workshop at Griya Persada Convention & Resort Bandungan. This workshop is an effort to improve the quality education system in accordance with the OBE (Outcome Based Education) curriculum. OBE is an approach used to accommodate education in the midst of the HR gap in the world of work and society.

OBE is an educational process that focuses on achieving certain specified concrete results (oriented to the results of knowledge, abilities and behavior). OBE in its process involves restructuring the curriculum, assessment and reporting practices in education to reflect the achievement of higher-order learning and higher-order learning and mastery rather than the accumulation of course credits. The main concepts and principles of OBE center on focusing on learning outcomes, backwards curriculum design, structured alignment (learning outcomes-learning activities-assessment), facilitating learning opportunities and the P-D-C-A systematic cycle.

Education that continues to grow requires the development of the education system as well. The increasingly massive technological advances that support the accessibility of education make it important to improve the overall quality of the study program. On this occasion, the Religious Studies Study Study Program was represented by Dr. Dian Nur Anna as the Head of the Religious Studies Study Program, Mrs. Aida Hidayah, S.Th.I., M.Hum. as the Secretary of the Religious Studies Study Program and Dr. Siti Khodijah Nurul Aula, M.Ag.
