Tuesday, October 27, 2020, UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta's Religious Studies Study Program held a National Webinar with the theme Hijrah Phenomenon and Urban Community Religion. Departing from the anxiety that has occurred in Indonesia, Hijrah has become a trend even among capital artists. In this activity, it provides an overview, explanations and ideas that occur in the hijrah trend and also religion in urban society.

In this activity, various resource persons with their respective fields of expertise were invited, not even only within the scope of the UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta campus who could answer the Hijrah Phenomenon and Urban Community Religion. The following are the speakers in this national webinar activity Prof. Dr. Abdul Mu'ti, M. Ed. (UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta), Prof. Dr. Alimatul Qibtiyah (UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta), Drs. Ismatu Ropi, MA., Ph. D (UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta), Yulianingsih Riswan, MA (Gadjah Mada University Yogyakarta), Dr. Sekar Ayu Aryani, M.Ag (UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta), and Dr. Ustadi Hamsah, M.Ag (UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta).

This activity was also supported by the Indonesian Religious Studies Association (ASAI), the Laboratory for the Study of Religions of UIN Sunan Kalijaga, the Gender House of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Islamic Thought, the Business Innovation Center of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Islamic Thought and the Virtual Islamic Institute of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Islamic Thought.
