The process of preparing for FIBAA accreditation which has been started since 2 years ago makes the Religious Studies study program have careful preparation. This is an effort of Religious Studies Study Program so that the accreditation process will run smoothly. Religious Studies Study Program in an effort to improve the quality of higher education in collaboration with FIBAA. Achieving a Certificate with a Quality Seal issued on March 22, 2023. This long process produced results in accordance with the expectations desired by the Religious Studies study program. The success in achieving FIBAA accreditation is a new benchmark for educational institutions in Indonesia and it is hoped that more universities will follow suit in improving the quality of education.

On Saturday, May 13, 2023, Religious Studies Study Program also joined the FIBAA workshop team at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. This workshop was attended by representatives of State Islamic Religious Universities (PTKIN) throughout Indonesia. This workshop was held as a form of sharing material related to forms and requirements to the FIBAA process that has been carried out by UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. In accordance with the mandate of the Rector of UIN Sunan Kalijaga, the success of UIN Sunan Kalijaga in this FIBAA Accreditation is expected to be followed by other universities. With this, it is hoped that the quality of education at the university level will improve and can become a university that can compete nationally and internationally.
