Curriculum Redesign Workshop for Religious Studies Study Program

The development of an institution including higher education is something that must be done. This is at least in response to developments that occur in society and regulations carried out by the government. In addition, development is part of the changes that continue to run rapidly with the flow of information technology. Thus, through development activities, the institution develops rapidly.

The above necessity, for three days from February 06-07, 2020 the Study Program under the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Islamic Thought held a curriculum redesign workshop for Study Programs, including the Religious Studies Study Program. This activity was carried out at Swiss-Belinn Hotel Solo which was attended by the entire academic community. Thus, this activity is part of academic development efforts.

Timely graduation is the most important part of the quality of a study program. This was said by Dr. Inayah Rohmaniyah, S.Ag., M.Hum., M.A. in the opening remarks of the workshop. Curriculum redesign is an activity that can deliver convenience in all matters including in terms of the number of teaching hours of a lecturer. Thus, through this activity all components in the faculty can improve their quality.

Apart from the discussion about curriculum redesign, the Religious Studies Study Program also discussed the vision and mission of the study program.
