Monday, September 26, 2022, the entire academic community celebrated the 71st Anniversary of UIN Sunan Kalijaga in Prof. Amin Abdullah Building {Multi Purpose (MP)}.

This is part of a series of events celebrating the anniversary of UIN Suka, which were previously held in the forest of Campus II Guwosari, Pajangan, Batuk.

Activities in Prof. Amin Abdullah Building were filled with various activities such as Rector's Scientific Oration, Quality Awarding, and Art Performance, then closed by Wayang Performance.

In the Scientific Oration, the Rector of UIN Sunan Kalijaga, Prof. Dr. Phil. Al Makin, S.Ag, M.A., gave several expressions of gratitude with pride for the achievements of the campus so far. In addition, the rector paid attention to administrative governance, campus II development, and students as a whole.

As the theme of the scientific oration was "Building a Diverse Campus and Nation with Gratitude", the rector emphasized that "To build a tolerant generation and establish empathy for each other requires a long process, both in terms of education and real practice. For this reason, we have tried to attract students from diverse backgrounds, especially the 3T route, as an effort to establish relations between ethnicities and religions."

The event was then continued by the Awarding Activity of Exemplary Quality Award for Faculty and Study Program. This year, it was achieved by Religious Studies representing the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Islamic Thought.

"Alhamdulillah, the Religious Studies Study Program received the Quality Exemplary Award, hopefully the SAA study program can improve its quality even better," said the head of the study program, Dr. Dian Nur Anna, S.Ag, M.Ag.
