Alumni of Religious Studies become Regent in the Most Elite Regency in Indonesia

On March 11, 2021, the Religious Studies visited the Sleman Regent's Office. Dra.Kustini, who was recently inaugurated as Regent of Sleman for the period 2021-2026 on February 26, 2021 at Kepatihan Yogyakarta.

Dr. Dian Nur Anna, as the Chairperson of the Religious Studies, expressed her congratulations on the inauguration of Dra.Kustini as Regent of Sleman. In addition, the purpose of this visit is to strengthen the friendship of UIN Sunan Kalijaga alumni, especially alumni of Religious Studies which was formerly called Comparative Religion.

Dra. Kustini conveyed a message that she has been applying the knowledge of comparative religion in her daily life. With this capital, she can get along and be open to all religions, ethnicities, tribes and even sects of belief. She accepts all differences that exist. Hence, there is a slogan: "Sleman becomes a home together to build Sleman, Honestly creative, Solutive ". he hopes to carry out the mandate well.
