International Conference: “Religious Studies At The Crossroad: Connecting Networks and Characters of Religious Studies in South East Asia”
On November 20, 2019, the Religious Studies Study Program held an International Seminar with the theme "Religious Studies At The Crossroad: Connecting Networks and Characters of Religious Studies in South East Asia" organized by the Religious Studies Study Program, Faculty of Ushuluddin and Islamic Thought UIN Sunan Kalijaga. By cooperating with speakers from within and outside the country with the discussion of Religious Studies. The speakers were Dr. Muhammad Ilyas from the University of Liverpool Singapore, Dr. Le Ngoc Bich Ly from Payap University Thailand, Ass Prof.Dr, Siti Salwa MD Sawari from IIUM Malaysia, Dr. Samsul Hidayah IAIN Pontianak, and Prof.Syafaatun Almirzanah, Ph.D., D.Min from Religious Studies Study Programe.
Prof. Ustadi Hamsah as Head of the Department of Religious Studies at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta hopes that the implementation of this International Seminar will be a development, methodology, and challenge of Religious Studies in Asia.
