International Seminar; Religious Studies at the Crossroad: Connecting Network and Characters of Religious Studies in South East Asia

The Religious Studies Study Program will hold an International Seminar. This International Seminar activity carries the theme Religious Studies at the Crossroad: Connecting Network and Characters of Religious Studies in South East Asia. The theme is carried with the aim of being able to get an explanation and description of the development of Religious Studies or Religious Studies in the South East Asia region. This International Seminar will be held on November 20, 2019 at the New Sapir Hotel Yogyakarta.
This activity presents cross-country speakers, namely Dr. Muhammad Ilyas from Malaysia, Dr. Siti Salwa from Singapore, Dr. Mansoor Limba from Thailand, and Dr. Le Ngoc Bich Ly from the Philippines. The domestic speakers were Dr. Samsul Hidayat from IAIN Pontianak and Prof. Syafa'atun Almirzanah from UIN Sunan Kalijaga.
Also invited were various institutions or colleagues from the Religious Studies study program, such as Interfidei, Mormons, PW Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, PW Nahdlatul Ulama Yogyakarta, Yogyakarta Religious Harmony Forum (FKUB), and many others.
