Description This course is a continuation of the Psychology of Religion course given in the previous semester. The Islamic Psychology course in this lecture will be studied from the perspective of special Religious Psychology or a branch of Religious Psychology. As a branch of psychology that is still in the formative phase (formation), the study will focus on discourses related to the initial discussion of a new scientific discipline. As a consequence, lectures will be filled with discussions about history and background, epistemological foundations, methodology, features of Islamic psychology, as well as examples of Islamic psychology studies. Since the participants in this lecture are Psychology Study Program students who already have basic knowledge about the Psychology of Religion, which is the parent of Islamic Psychology, the lecture will be designed to be more in-depth and develop the previous lecture. In accordance with the characteristics of lectures in the form of development, the lecture strategy will be designed in such a way as to facilitate this goal. In short, lectures will be dominated by various discussion strategies rather than lectures.
