Description In general, this course is given to provide students with understanding and insight into various aspects of Christianity. This is important because of two things, first, Islam has always positioned Isa al-Masih and Maryam as holy servants of Allah like other prophets and apostles, but their position has shifted to become "part" of Allah in Christian understanding. Second, the implications of this are the emergence of cross-interpretations among Muslims and Christians in translating Isa and Maryam in their theological structure. The most visible excess of cross-interpretation is "hostility" between followers of each religion. This course will therefore explain what and how Christianity is, both from its historical, theological and contemporary development aspects, with the hope that students can develop a critical attitude towards Christianity but remain within academic corridors that uphold academic ethics and good morals. lectures, students are expected to be able to know and understand Christianity and various aspects of its teachings so that they can conduct critical comparative studies.
