| Description | This course is one of the components of the Skills Course taught in the Religious Studies study program at the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Islamic Thought at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Jogjakarta. This course is given with the aim of providing students with basic knowledge about Comparative Religion Science such as understanding, differences with Theology and Philosophy, the relationship between Science and the Sociology of Religion, objects of study, uses in academic and social areas, as well as the history of Science in the Western and Muslim world. In accordance with the name of this course, the study of religions in this lecture will focus on the historical approach of each religion, including knowledge about the growth and development of its teachings. From the introduction to various aspects of science, it is hoped that it can become a means for students to realize the value of science epistemology and axiology in socio-religious studies and social life. |
