Description Introduction to Religious Studies is essentially a component of the Community Life Course given to students in all majors. With this PSA course, students have basic knowledge about other religions outside their own religion as well as several signs about lifestyle patterns in a religious pluralist society. This PSA lecture is focused on the profile of religious studies of each religion. PSA always involves theoretical aspects of various social science and humanities disciplines, such as Thematic Tafsir, Thematic Hadith, SII, Hinduism, Buddhism, Confucianism, Christianity, Judaism, and PTKM. The process of integration and interconnection of science and Islam lies in the religious dimension which is not only ansich doctrine when adherents practice its teachings, but also has a historical-sociological dimension. Religious doctrine in empirical life is something profane because it takes the form of a series of practical activities and rituals. An introduction to religious studies examines doctrine from a historical-sociological perspective and does not pass judgment on religious doctrines.
